Renowned actor Ayeza Khan chooses dramas that provide her with valuable life lessons. She disclosed that her role in the popular drama series Mere Paas Tum Ho taught her to value her husband, Danish Taimoor, more.

Ayeza shared insights into her craft during her appearance at a fundraising event for Palestine in the UK.

"Whenever I choose a project, I consider whether I can learn something from the story or character I'll play. When I played Mubashira Jaffar (in Mein drama), I learned that anger can be very harmful to oneself and others," she said.

The Chand Tara actor added, “Playing Mehwish taught me the importance of valuing those who love us. That's why I began to respect Danish more,” she said.

The character of Mehwish, played by Ayeza in Mere Paas Tum Ho was unsatisfied with her husband's financial status and was tempted by the lavish lifestyle of a businessman who attempts to win her over with expensive gifts and promises.

The acclaimed drama achieved unprecedented popularity, not only in Pakistan but also abroad.

The drama also aired on Zee Zindagi for Indian fans.

However, the series also drew criticism for its portrayal of women in a negative light and for including dialogues that were deemed sexist and offensive.
