Rajab Butt's mother extends support for son over alleged affairs

Pakistan’s well-known YouTuber and social media influencer Rajab Butt has once again found himself embroiled in controversy.

Famous for his family vlogs, luxurious lifestyle, and controversial antics, Rajab Butt boasts over 8.2 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 2.7 million followers on Instagram.

Rajab Butt married Iman Butt in December 2024, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2025.

He was facing legal proceedings in Pakistan for allegedly promoting betting apps, but has since relocated to the United Kingdom.

A few days ago, several women came forward claiming they had illicit relationships with Rajab Butt — some of which allegedly continued even after his marriage.

Responding to the controversy, Rajab Butt’s mother came to his defense, saying, “I was hurt when I watched his vlog and saw him admitting his relationships. It made me sad, but I know that every person — especially men — have a past. We should forgive those who sincerely repent before Allah. Allah is Merciful and forgives those who truly seek forgiveness.”

Her statement sparked a strong reaction on social media, with many users criticizing her comments as typical of “a desi mother defending her son’s wrongdoings.
