Renowned actor Sabeena Farooq, who made a remarkable mark in the entertainment industry in a short period, recently opened up about the personal struggles she faces behind the glamour. She shared how her demanding career sometimes makes it difficult to fulfill her religious obligations, but she always strives to prioritise them.

Taking to Instagram, Sabeena admitted that at times, she tries to avoid shoots as the hectic schedule disrupts her ability to maintain her religious duties.

As an actress, the extensive makeup and costume changes she undergoes often make it challenging to perform wuzu (ablution) for prayers, which require Muslims to wash themselves while ensuring no barrier between the water and their skin.

Sharing a heartfelt caption alongside a picture of herself wearing a headscarf, often worn by women during prayer, Sabeena wrote, "In my stay-at-home and pray Namaz on time era."

She further explained, "One thing I really miss on my working days, and that’s also one reason I don’t work a lot, which is also somehting I love, but I struggle to perform wuzu over all that make up and haido.

“Those days are only filled with guilt and sadness most of the times that I failed my religious practice,” she added.

Despite these challenges, Sabeena expressed her determination to strike a 'balance' between her professional life and religious obligations.

Previously, other actors have also shared their efforts to prioritise personal religious practices while working. Actor Zahid Ahmed, for instance, emphasized that he makes time for prayers even during shoots.

In an interviewm Zahid shared that he had all the things people aspired to, such as money and fame, but “still there was a sense of aggression that was unfulfilled.”

The actor shared that this uneasiness prompted him to seek God's blessings. “First, I asked God to help me worship,” he said, noting that there was no pressure from elders because he had moved to Karachi, where no one was there to encourage him to pray.

Zahid Ahmed shared that he found peace in worship, adding, " “I prioritise five-time prayer whether I am on set or anywhere else”
