"These are cowardly tactics:" Sana Nawaz accuses ex-husband of making death threats against her family

Renowned actor Sana Nawaz revealed that she has been receiving threats for several weeks, expressing concern that her ex-husband might be behind the harassment.

The actress spoke about threats and harassment in a video circulating on social media. In response to threats, the Umro Ayyar actor stated that she would take legal action.

She further disclosed, "I have been receiving life-threatening phone calls for some time now," adding that the suspects also threatened her children.

"My [social media] account has been deactivated," the actor said, adding that she was extremely worried after her car was chased twice recently.

According to Sana, before the recent threats and blackmailing, her ex-husband and ex-father-in-law had threatened and pressured her.

She suspected that her ex-husband and ex-father-in-law were behind the recent threats.

"While I intend to file a complaint, I wanted to record this message to ensure it reaches everyone," she asserted.

In light of previous incidents where actresses have been attacked, the Yeh Dil Aapka Huwa actor expressed concern for her safety. 

She wanted people to be aware of any untoward incidents that might occur to her in advance.

"These are cowardly tactics. I will not back down; I will fight back."

Sana married Fakhar Imam Jaffri in 2008, and they have two children together. After 14 years of marriage, the couple divorced in October 2022. 

Although she spoke about her ex-husband several times after the divorce, she did not make any serious allegations against him, but vaguely mentioned violence and infidelity.

Now, she expressed doubt that her husband is responsible for the threats and harassment she is experiencing.
