Sarwat Gilani has THIS advice for youngsters

Acclaimed actress and activist Sarwat Gilani recently shared her thoughts on marriage during her appearance as a guest on a podcast show by 'Rukhsat.

The actress encouraged youngsters to redefine societal norms and consider marriage in their 30s, rather than rushing into it in their 20s.

The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor underscored the importance of self-discovery and maturity before entering marriage. "In your 20s, you're still confused and discovering yourself," she said, advising young people to wait and focus on personal growth.

The actress, happily married to Fahad Mirza with three children, also discussed the pros and cons of arranged and love marriages. 

"There are no guarantees nowadays," she noted, highlighting that arranged marriages can sometimes succeed where love relationships fail.

She expressed hope that Gen Z will challenge this norm and prioritise personal development.
