Single motherhood is tough when you ‘don’t have responsible, graceful co-parent’: Aliza Sultan

Renowned actor Feroze Khan’s ex-wife, Aliza Sultan Khan, shared insights into her journey as a single mother, highlighting the difficulties when a co-parent fails to fulfill their parental obligations.

During a Q&A session on her Instagram post, a fan asked Aliza if she faced challenges raising her children as a single mother.

In response, Aliza admitted that single parenting is always challenging, but it becomes even more difficult “when you don’t have a zimedar (responsible), graceful co-parent.”

“It gets harder as every passing day comes with its obstacles,” she added.

Despite these challenges, Aliza emphasised that she strives to stay strong and often has to tolerate difficult situations.

She mentioned that there are times she compromises for the well-being of her children, while at other times, she chooses to prioritise her own wishes.

According to Aliza. this is how one must navigate life, keeping the welfare of the children in mind.

She also took a moment to praise mothers who manage their children alone while their husbands are away for work, acknowledging their strength in handling responsibilities without their partners.

Earlier, Aliza shared a cryptic post about the burden of childcare, stating that the sole responsibility of caring for sick children disproportionately falls on her.

Feroze Khan and Syeda Aliza Sultan, who share two children from their previous marriage, decided to co-parent their kids, Sultan and Fatima, despite the challenges that came with their divorce.

Recently, both children have been seen spending quality time with both sides of the family. Sultan and Fatima frequently visit their father’s home, where they interact with Feroze Khan's second wife,
