Slain Indian singer Sidhu Moose Wala's parents to welcome baby soon: reports

The parents of slain Congress leader and Indian singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moose Wala, are set to welcome a baby next month in March, Indian media reported on Tuesday.

According to a publication The Indian Express, Moosewala's mother, Charan Kaur, is pregnant and will soon welcome a new baby.

Moosewala was the only child of his parents, who are in their late fifties now, the publication added in its report.

However, Charan Kaur and her husband, Balkaur Singh, have not commented on the reports yet till the filing of this news.

Notably, Moosewala was shot dead in his car in the northern state of Punjab in May 2022.

The 28-year-old was a popular musician both in India and among Punjabi communities abroad, especially in Canada and Britain.
