Sonakshi Sinha to tie the knot on June 23: Indian media

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is set to tie the knot with her long-time beau, Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23 this month, India media reported on Monday.

According to India Today, the wedding ceremony will take place at the popular venue Bastian in Mumbai.

The publication reported that the wedding festivities will be intimate with only close friends and family members will be invited.

However, the actress has invited the entire cast of the series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, in which Sonakshi played a leading role as Fareedan.

The invitation card for the wedding event is designed like a magazine, bearing the text "the rumours are true."

Shatrughan Sinha's family has requested guests to wear formal attire for the celebrations.

The couple has been in relation for a long time, however, they have never shared this with fans or the media.

But, their public appearances together at various red-carpet events spared dating rumours.

Indian media said that the duo became friends during the production of the film Double XL. Later their friendship blossomed into love, as they prepare to embark on this new chapter.
