TikToker Zulqarnain released after being arrested for displaying weapons

Famous TikToker Zulqarnain Sikandar was arrested on Friday for allegedly displaying weapons while attending the wedding of a close friend in Gujranwala. The actor, however, dismissed his detention as an attempt to "defame him."

According to Channel 24, the YouTuber was taken into custody by Sabzi Mandi Police from a local marquee in Gujranwala. Zulqarnain was released after a brief detention.

Following the incident, he took to Instagram to share his side of the story with his fans.

Expressing his disappointment and frustration, Zulqarnain stated, “Anything is possible in this country. I do not know the people who are trying to defame me. A fake FIR has been registered against me, and I will discuss the matter in detail soon.”

In an Instagram story, he further wrote, “I don’t know yet who is behind this matter and who is trying to defame me.”

Zulqarnain Haider boasts a massive social media following, with 17.8 million TikTok followers, 2 million on Instagram, and 3 million YouTube subscribers.

Earlier, YouTuber Rajab Butt, who made headlines for his lavish wedding event, was release after a brief arrest for illegally keeping a lion cub and weapons without license.

Rajab, who began his career with the Geo TV drama Rani alongside Kinza Hashmi, has grown into one of Pakistan’s biggest digital influencers.

The raid was conducted at a private housing society by the police in collaboration with the Wildlife Department.

According to reports, the Chung Police apprehended the accused and transferred him to the police station for further legal action.
