Anant Ambani made his father Mukesh Ambani tear up with an emotional speech during the former's pre-wedding celebrations in India's Jamnagar on Friday.

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani are all set to tie the knot in star-studded three-day celebrations, which kicked off last night.

During the event, the younger Ambani gave a speech, detailing how his mother, father, and other family members worked hard to make the festivities possible.

"My family has gone all out to make me feel special. My life has not entirely been a bed of roses. I have experienced the pain of thorns," Asia’s richest man's son said.

"I have faced many health issues since childhood, but my father and mother have never let me feel that I have suffered. They have always stood by me," he added.

This was the moment when the owner of Reliance Industries broke down in tears of happiness.

Earlier this week, Anant and Radhika hosted thousands of people from neighbouring villages in their pre-wedding festivities.

According to Indian media, Mukesh Ambani has invited over 1,000 guests, including Bill Gates, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh.

In the last night event titled "An Evening in Everland", Hollywood A-lister singer, Rihanna, mesmerised the guests with a medley of her popular songs, Diamonds, Rude Boy, and Pout it up.

The video of the Grammy award winner musician posing with Indian paparazzi at Jamnagar airport also grabbed the attention of the netizens.
