“We must remember to keep Palestine in our hearts:” Hadiqa Kiani

Acclaimed vocalist Hadiqa Kiani took to Instagram to remind people to stand in solidarity with Palestine as the Israeli genocide in Gaza continues for over a year.

In her post, Hadiqa was seen holding a "Freedom Melon" tote bag from Wear the Peace, featuring a map of the Gaza Strip printed in the colors of the Palestinian flag.

"Wherever we go, we must remember to keep Palestine in our hearts and on our minds," she wrote.

Hadiqa also urged her followers to support Palestinian businesses and continue boycotting pro-Israel brands, emphasising that these actions can amplify the voice of the oppressed and draw attention to the plight of those suffering in Gaza.

Clarifying that her post was not sponsored, the singer shared that she had personally purchased the tote bag as part of her effort to support Palestinian causes. "

Remember, our voices and our money can make a difference," she added.

Pro-Palestine clothing from Wear the Peace gained viral attention when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s 18-year-old daughter was spotted wearing a black sweatshirt featuring a watermelon in the shape of Palestine’s map.

The overall Palestinian death toll since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza has reached at least 45,484 with more than 108,090 wounded. Thousands more remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
