The recent domestic violence case involving Pakistani stage actress Nargis has sent shockwaves across social media, with fellow actress Mishi Khan speaking out against the incident.
Mishi Khan took to social media to condemn the violence, sharing a video message expressing her sorrow and dismay at Nargis's ordeal. She questioned the societal norms that allow such violence to occur, asking, "What kind of sons are mothers raising that they make life hell for women?"
Mishi demanded strict action against Nargis's husband, who brutally assaulted her, leaving her with severe injuries. In her video caption, Mashie wrote, "Seeing Nargis in this state is heartbreaking. She's a victim of severe domestic violence. This man brutally beat her. It's shameful what kind of sons mothers are raising, worse than devils."
Nargis had filed a case against her husband, Majeed Bashir, alleging that he assaulted her in front of her nephew, hitting her face with a pistol.
The actress shared a distressing video showcasing her injuries, which went viral on social media.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken notice of the incident, assuring Nargis of justice.
