Did Abrar Ul Haq refuse to work with Katrina Kaif over Bollywood's anti-Kashmir stance?

Renowned singer Abrar Ul Haq revealed that he had rejected the Bollywood movie offer with star actress Katrina Kaif due to "certain issues", which also shocked the Indian production house.

Recently, Abrar appeared in Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast, where he shared the thin and thick experiences he had in his life. 

During the interview, the Billo singer also revealed that he got a Bollywood movie offer, but some reasons prevented him from venturing with them.

According to Abrar, the Indian Entertainment Company 'Eros' wanted to ink a contract with him, "but their deal was stopping him from talking about issues like Kashmir". 

“I did not understand their contract. I told them that those who believe in freedom of expression should not talk like this,” he said. 

Abrar said his refusal made Indian company shocked and they told him that "no one had ever refused them". 

“I refused a film offer with Katrina Kaif, despite being pushed by my friends,” he said.

“I got several offers from Bollywood, including making albums over the years, and I do work with Indian singers,” the singer added. 

Abrar said Indian rapper Honey Sing called him several times for collaboration, but "due to some misunderstanding, their deal got late". 

“I am a big fan of India's Punjabi culture, and they are also admirers of our culture,” said the former politician.
