YouTube has removed the popular remake of "Akh Lari Bado Badi" by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan from its platform due to a copyright claim.

The song, which gained over 28 million views and went viral in Pakistan and India, was uploaded to Khan's official YouTube channel a month ago.

According to media reports, the deletion was prompted by a copyright claim, although the specifics of the claim have not been disclosed.

The song's popularity had also led to it trending on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

However, social media users expressed relief at the song's deletion, saying they were frustrated by the song.

The song was originally performed by the legendary Madam Noor Jahan for the 1973 film Banarsi Thug, starring Firdous, Ejaz and Munawar Zarif, with its composition arranged by Bakhshi Wazeer Sahib.
