Zahid Ahmed slams Instagram for removing his post criticising Joe Biden, Benjamin Netanyahu

Renowned actor Zahid Ahmed revealed that Instagram removed his earlier post where he criticised the President of the United States and the Israeli Prime Minister while expressing support for the Palestinians. 

A few days ago, Zahid Ahmed shared images comparing the Afghan Taliban with US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Instagram and Facebook. 

The post highlights the stereotyping of people in shalwar kameez, beards, and turbans as terrorists in the Western world.

Nonetheless, a removed post from Zahid Ahmed's profile indicated that the 'massacre' of thousands of Palestinians due to Israel's ongoing Gaza bombings was attributed to the policies of Biden, Rishi Sunak, and Benjamin Netanyahu, labelling them as 'terrorists.' 

The 'Ishq Zahe Naseeb' actor disclosed that Instagram deleted his post.

In his statement, the actor expressed surprise, stating he never expected this to happen to him. 

The actor slammed Instagram and wrote in his caption, "Never thought I would witness it myself. But Instagram has removed my last post about the face of Netanyahu, Rishi Sunak and Biden being the real terrorists. To hell with you, Instagram, I'd love to see you burn in hell on the Day of Judgment."

People worldwide are condemning the management of social media platforms for censoring content, especially exposing Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.

The term "shadow ban" is commonly employed to describe censorship, limiting the accounts' posts to restricting public access to the accounts or having such posts removed by the platform.

Accounts impacted by shadow ban are unsearchable within the application, though they are visible on Google Search. Shadow ban imposes various restrictions; however, account holders can freely share content on their behalf without encountering issues in using the application.
