Aleema Khan detained temporarily by Rawalpindi police

Former prime minister Imran Khan Aleema Khan was taken into temporary custody by Rawalpindi police on Wednesday following court orders.

On Tuesday, Aleema Khan ended her sit-in with her sisters and PTI workers at Gorakhpur Naka in Rawalpindi after about 10 hours after not being allowed to meet with the PTI.

According to sources, after the police negotiated successfully with Aleema Khan and Allama Nasir Abbas, Aleema Khan ended her sit-in on the assurance of the police.

Noreen Niazi said that we have been assured that a meeting will be held next week, if the meeting is not held next week, we will not end the protest.

It should be noted that on Tuesday, Aleema Khan reached Adiala Jail to meet her brother Imran Khan, but she was not allowed to meet.

Aleema Khan tried to go to the jail with the workers, and there was a heated exchange of words and pressure between the police and PTI workers.

On this occasion, Aleema Khan had staged a sit-in at Gorakhpur Naka near Adiala Jail after not being allowed to meet Imran Khan.
