Karachiites should brace themselves for another spell of rain and make all the required arrangements as the port city is likely to be hit by downpours from March 9.
According to weather analyst Jawad Memon, another westerly system of winds is expected to enter the southern region of Pakistan on March 9.
Under its influence, moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely in the southern part of Balochistan and Sindh, he added.
The weatherman predicted that two rain systems may hit Balochistan on March 5 and March 9.
As per the weather advisory shared by Memon, parts of Balochistan are likely to receive light to heavy drizzle under the first system.
Gwadar, Jiwani, Pasni, Ormara, and other coastal areas of Balochistan, under the second system, will receive heavy rain with thunderstorms from March 9 to March 12, it added.
The weather analyst further said the system may also affect several areas of Sindh, including Karachi, from March 9 to 12.
The metropolis had received four spells of heavy downpours on March 1, which turned the weather chilly.
