Close relative of KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur killed in DI Khan

Saqlain Gandapur, a close relative of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, was tragically killed in a firing incident in Kulachi Tehsil, Dera Ismail Khan district.

According to family sources, Saqlain, the son of Chief Minister Gandapur’s uncle, was shot by an unidentified assailant.

Authorities are investigating the incident, but the motive behind the attack remains unclear.

The incident occurred shortly after Chief Minister Gandapur inaugurated the newly-constructed Investigation and Intelligence Block in the district.

He also announced an additional Rs1 billion to bolster the police department's resources and operational capabilities.

During the inauguration, the chief minister emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to supporting law enforcement and the families of fallen officers.

The tragic killing underscores the ongoing security challenges in the region, even as efforts are made to enhance policing infrastructure and welfare initiatives.
