COAS Munir vows 'action' against those hindering forces from ensuring security

Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir has said that all Pakistanis have a shared responsibility to fight terrorism, stressing that both civilians and those in uniform have a role to play in the conflict.
Speaking to the National Action Plan apex committee, General Munir stated, "Some are in uniform, and some are not," emphasizing the necessity of national cohesion in the face of terrorism.
"We must all work together to combat the evil of terrorism," he emphasized. The army chief reaffirmed the Constitution's significance, stating that it is essential for every citizen.
He said how everyone is held accountable for maintaining both internal and external security under the Constitution. We are obligated to maintain both internal and external security by the Constitution.
"Those who hinder security will be held accountable," he declared. Speaking about threats to national security, General Munir issued a warning that those who obstruct security forces' work would not escape punishment.
"Whoever stops us from doing our job will be held accountable," he vowed.
According to General Asim Munir, the sacrifices made by the martyrs on a daily basis are helping the Pakistan Army and law enforcement organizations close governance gaps.
