Election 2024: PPP awards NA, PA tickets in Sindh to bigwigs' relatives

Pakistan People's Party has once again preferred families of party's bigwigs in awarding of tickets for the upcoming general elections.
In Ghotki, Sardar Ali Gohar Mahar is the National Assembly candidate from NA-199 on PPP ticket, while his brother Ali Nawaz Mahar and cousin Muhammad Bukhsh Mahar are running for provincial assembly seats.
In Sukkur, Syed Khursheed Shah is the National Assembly candidate from NA-201 for the Peoples Party, and his son Syed Farukh Shah and son-in-law Owais Shah have successfully secured party tickets for provincial assembly seats.
In Qambar Shahdadkot, most of the national and provincial assembly seats are distributed among two families, Magsis and Chandios.
Amir Magsi is the National Assembly candidate from NA-197, and his brother Nadir Magsi is the provincial assembly candidate, while Sardar Khan Chandio has secured the People's Party ticket for the provincial assembly seats along with his brother Burhan Khan Chandio.
Similarly, Asif Ali Zardari is contesting from NA-207 in Nawabshah and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari from Larkana’s NA196, while Asif Zardari’s sisters Azra Pechuho and Faryal Talpur are running for PA seats from Nawabshah and Larkana.
Faryal Talpur’s husband, Mir Munawar Talpur, is the Peoples Party candidate for the National Assembly seat from NA-212 in Mirpurkhas.
In Khairpur, Qaim Ali Shah is running for a PA seat while his daughter Nafisa Shah and nephew Javed Ali Shah are the Peoples Party candidates for the National Assembly seats.
From Umerkot, Nawab Yousuf Talpur is the National Assembly candidate, and his son Timur Talpur is the provincial assembly candidate. Syed Sardar Shah and his cousin are provincial assembly candidates, while his brother-in-law Zia Abbas Shah is a contestant for the PA seat from Tando Allahyar.
In Thatta, the Sheerazi family’s two brothers, Ayaz Shah Sheerazi for an NA seat and younger Riyaz Hussain Shah and cousin Shah Hussain Shah will be participating in the elections on the Peoples Party tickets for the provincial assembly seats.
In Jamshoro, Malik Asad Sikander is the National Assembly candidate, and his son Malik Sikander is the provincial assembly candidate.
