Faisal Vawda labels Bushra Bibi 'threat' to Imran Khan’s life

Islamabad: Former PTI leader and Senator Faisal Vawda has declared Bushra Bibi a 'threat' to Imran Khan’s life.

In an interview, Vawda expressed concern about the life of PTI founder Imran Khan, stating that as long as Bushra Bibi remains in the picture, Khan’s politics and freedom will be in jeopardy.

He emphasized that if Khan is to be saved, he must distance himself from Bushra Bibi.

Vawda further claimed that Bushra Bibi’s actions, like giving Khan yogurt or other things, were attempts to gain political leverage over the PTI founder, even if it meant exploiting his situation.

Previously, Faisal Vawda had also suggested that a ban on PTI was imminent, and that loyal members would soon form a new political entity called “PTI Pakistan.”

Senator Faisal Vawda said that the former ruling party “is going to be banned” after the recent “violence” in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) thee-day long protest which was put off abruptly in the wee hours of Wednesday. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will not be arrested, but Bushra Bibi will, he claimed on Wednesday.

He spoke as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has declared its intention to table a resolution in the Balochistan Assembly, calling for a ban on PTI after the Imran Khan-founded party postponed its intended protest sit-in in reaction to clashes with security forces in Islamabad in the early hours of Wednesday.
