Huge fire erupts at Karachi’s Rimpa Plaza

A terrible fire broke out in the Rimpa Plaza located on MA Jinnah Road in Karachi. Fire brigade personnel were busy extinguishing the fire while windows were broken to rescue people trapped on the fourth floor of the building.

The flames of fire which broke out on the fourth floor, have intensified.

As soon as the incident was reported, the Fire and Rescue team reached the spot. Fire brigade personnel started efforts to extinguish the fire with the help of six  fire tenders and two snorkels.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and directed immediate measures to extinguish the fire. He directed the Commissioner Karachi to submit a detailed report on the fire in Rimpa Plaza.

Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar ordered to immediately rescue the people trapped in the building. He said that the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained
