In a fresh development in the mysterious death of model and actress Humaira Asghar, investigators have uncovered evidence suggesting the late star was not facing financial difficulties at the time of her death, contradicting earlier assumptions in the case.
As per sources, over Rs398,000 were found in a current account registered in Humaira's name at a private bank.
The account activity, which included regular ATM withdrawals ranging between Rs25,000 to Rs50,000, points to a steady flow of funds and undermines speculation that financial distress could have driven her toward desperation.
This revelation came as a crucial shift in the case, which has captured public attention since Humaira's 9-month old decomposed body was discovered at her apartment in Karachi earlier this month.

The discovery sparked widespread speculation on social media, with many questioning the circumstances that led to her death.
Police confirmed that no cash or jewellery was found at her residence. This has prompted authorities to consider theft or foul play as potential factors in her death, and this angle has now been formally incorporated into the ongoing investigation.
Police are currently analysing CCTV footage from the surrounding area and continuing to collect forensic evidence from the apartment in hopes of reconstructing the final hours of the actress’s life.
The investigation in the case remained underway as authorities have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
