The imprisoned former prime minister, Imran Khan, has mentioned that he will soon announce the protest date.
He expressed to journalists at Adiala Jail on Monday his readiness to make any sacrifice for Pakistan's true freedom. Our efforts will persist until the judiciary is restored and our party's workers and leaders are released.
I will personally share the date for a march in the coming days.
During a party gathering on November 9, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced that Khan would be issuing a "protest call" this month. He mentioned to the PTI supporters gathered at the Swabi rally, known as 'Awami Jirga,' that they would patiently await Khan's ultimate decision.
During the rally, Gandapur gathered all supporters to pledge their commitment to follow Khan's "decisive call," anticipated to be announced in November, even if it requires sacrificing "one's life or resources. " He emphasized that Khan's supporters would not leave until they secured his release from jail.
Khan stated that the strategy had been discussed at the PTI's Saturday rally in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. On this occasion, our supporters are determined to stay put until their calls for the reinstatement of the Constitution, democracy, and a free judicial system, along with the liberation of party members, are addressed.
He encouraged PTI officials, assembly members, local leaders, ticket holders, workers, and supporters to finalize their arrangements and kick off the mobilization process in the community.
