JI supporter buys Hafiz Naeem's eyeglasses for Rs10.1 million

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman's eyeglasses were sold for a staggering Rs10.1 million to a citizen named Amir Mehmood Cheema.
The sale took place during the party's ongoing sit-in protest at Rawalpindi's Liaquat Bagh Park.
Cheema paid the amount of Rs10.1 million to JI's Central Deputy Amir Liaquat Baloch during the protest.
According to a JI spokesman, the money received from the sale of eyeglasses has been deposited into the party's protest fund.

The JI's protest against exorbitant power bills and taxes has entered its seventh day today (August 1).
According to sources, the negotiations between JI and the government are underway.
A day earlier, Hafiz Naeem warned that if their demands are not met, the party will escalate the protests to critical locations like D-Chowk, and highways, and enforce a nationwide shutter-down and wheel-jam strike.
