Karachiites are expected to experience hot and dry weather for the next four to five days, as the potential temperature would go above the average, the Pakistan Meteorologist Department (PMD) said on Saturday.

“Weather is likely to become hotter with daytime maximum temperature to rise 38°C to 40°C, which is 3°C to 4°C above than normal for the next four to five days,” stated the daily forecast shared by the weather department.

It added that the humidity level will remain high ranging between 60- 80 percent in the port city, however, isolated dust thunderstorms are likely in the Umerkot and Tharparkar districts on October 20 and 21.

Moreover, the hot and dry weather is anticipated to prevail in the other parts of the province for a week.

It is pertinent to mention here that hot and dry weather returned to Karachi after a few days' ease, as the severe low pressure over the central Arabian Sea caused the increase in the temperature in the metropolis last week.

The megapolis experienced light rain and cloudy weather due to the depression.
