The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that Karachi might receive drizzle and light rain over the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature in the past 24 hours was recorded at 13.5 degrees Celsius, with 90 per cent humidity and light winds blowing from the northeast.

Furthermore, the weather department predicted partly cloudy conditions in the city, anticipating temperatures ranging from 12 to 14 degrees Celsius minimum to 25 to 27 degrees Celsius maximum.

Earlier, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had predicted that a fresh wave of westerly winds is likely to bring much-needed rainfall to the western parts of the country.

These rain-inducing winds are anticipated to persist in the upper regions until January 31, ending a prolonged dry spell.

However, in the past week, Karachi experienced a humidity ratio of 58%, with the wind speed standing at 8 kmph from the northeast.
