Karachi likely to receive drizzle tonight

Karachi: The Meteorological Department has forecasted light drizzle and rain in Karachi this evening or night.

The Meteorological Department indicated that Karachi's weather is expected to remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature recorded in the past 24 hours was 30.5 degrees Celsius.

Winds from the west are blowing at a speed of 14 kilometers per hour, and there is no expectation of a heatwave in Karachi in the coming days.

The department further stated that temperatures in Karachi are expected to rise by one to two degrees next week, with maximum temperatures potentially reaching 37 to 38 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, another spell of monsoon winds is expected to enter the city on July 18, with heavy rains anticipated starting from July 20.
