The Met Office said the sea breezes were blowing at a speed of 30 to 35 kilometres per hour in the megapolis.
Earlier, the weather experts had predicted that the weather in the metropolis would remain hot until June 19, after that, the city would experience monsoon rain.
However, heavy or ‘above than normal’ rain had been predicted during the upcoming monsoon season, which is set to begin from the first week of July in Karachi.
