Karachi to receive heavy rain from Feb 25

The metropolitan city is expected to witness heavy rain from the evening or night of February 25 (Sunday) to February 27 (Tuesday), weather analyst said.

According to the meteorological analyst Jawad Memon, a series of western winds is likely to enter Balochistan on February 25.

Under the influence of a westerly wave system, part of Balochistan and Sindh, including Karachi, will receive heavy rains, he added.

The minimum temperature in the port city was recorded at 20°C, whereas the maximum is likely to increase between 19°C and 21°C.

However, the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) also forecasted rain in Karachi from February 25 to 27.
