Authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have issued a travel advisory for Babusar Top, warning tourists, travellers and transport operators to exercise extreme caution due to ongoing snowfall and deteriorating road conditions in the Naran region.

According to the district administration, continuous snowfall across upper Kaghan Valley has significantly disrupted traffic flow, with several sections of the Babusar Top route reduced to one-way passage. Officials said the situation is expected to worsen as snowfall intensifies, creating hazardous conditions for movement.

The advisory cautioned that travel after 6pm becomes particularly dangerous due to reduced visibility, freezing temperatures and rapidly worsening weather conditions. Authorities also warned of multiple risks along the route, including icy roads, brake failures, rockfalls, glacial movements and possible landslides.

Visitors have been urged to check weather updates before planning any journey and to avoid non-essential travel until conditions improve. Transport operators were also instructed to comply strictly with safety advisories issued by local authorities.
