Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Sher Afzal Marwat has said the law allows him to open fire at people entering his house at night without a warrant.
I have tightened my security measures, I will open fire on whoever tries to enter my house forcefully without a warrant, Marwat said.
Earlier, Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered a report to be submitted by February 26, while also restraining parties from taking disciplinary action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior Vice-President Sher Afzal Marwat. This directive follows an appeal to provide details of cases and to prevent harassment against him.
During the proceedings, Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz presided over Sher Afzal Marwat’s petition, which sought disclosure of case details and protection from harassment. Sher Afzal Marwat appeared in court to present his case.
Addressing the court, Sher Afzal Marwat recounted instances of harassment, stating, “following our protest and rally, my house was raided, and the door was broken at 1:00 am.” He urged for the involved parties to be notified and for case details to be summoned.
