An 80-year-old woman suffering from dementia was reunited with her son with the help of the Punjab police’s ‘Mera Pyaara’ app.
The police’s voluntary team retrieved the family tree of the elderly woman from Nadra record to find her son.
In a heartwarming video shared by the Punjab police on social media platform X, her son is seen visibly moved to tears as he embraces his mother in sheer joy. However, his mother, unable to identify him, can be seen simply smiling.
