As the polling process for the general elections continues in full swing across the country, an intriguing scenario unfolded at polling stations when grooms arrived to cast their vote.
The groom in Multan named Nadeem Abbas, made his way to the polling station in NA-149 at Chowk Kumharanwala to exercise his voting right on his wedding day.
Accompanied by their families, the groom's relatives also participated in the voting process.
In a statement to the media, Nadeem Abbas said, 'Today is a memorable day in my life. While I am about to receive the bride, voting is a responsibility. After fulfilling this duty, I will join the wedding festivities.'
Meanwhile, two brothers from Multan stopped their procession to cast their votes. Both Abrar and Abid exercised their voting rights.
One of the brothers commented, 'Today, both of us are voting for the first time. Despite our family members suggesting otherwise, we are casting our votes before continuing our procession to Muzaffargarh to avoid any delays.'
The two brothers cast their votes at Islamia School Haram Gate.
