Mustafa Amir case: culprit Armughan’s father misbehaves with police in court

In a dramatic scene at the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi, Kamran Qureshi, the father of Mustafa Aamir’s killer, created a disturbance and demanded to meet the judge.
“I am Armughan’s father, and I want to meet the judge,” he insisted, addressing the judge’s gunman.
A video was filmed outside the judge's chamber showed that Armughan’s father attempting to enter the judge’s chamber and shouting at the security guard when he was stopped.
“Go and tell the judge I have come to meet him, as my son’s case was being proceeded,” Kamran Qureshi said while accusing the gunman of taking bribes.
Qureshi pushed and abused the gunman Rizwan and said “Who the hell are you to stop me? I am an American citizen.” adding, “It’s a gang, they are standing for our security, but they are preventing me from meeting judge.”
The court administration called ranger contingents to address the situation.
Notably, the charred remains of Mustafa Amir, who had been missing from Defence for a month, had been located near Hub Checkpost. His body was discovered inside the trunk of his burned vehicle.
During a press conference, DIG CIA Muqaddas Haider, accompanied by officials from the CPLC, had announced that substantial advancements had been made in the investigation.
Mustafa, aged 23, was abducted on January 6, after which his mother received a ransom demand.
The case was subsequently handed over to the CIA, with the CPLC providing essential support.
