Pakistani spinners weakened the West Indies' batting line, as nine wickets tumbled for 91 runs. The entire team was eventually dismissed for 137, falling short of Pakistan's first-innings total of 230 on the second day of the Multan Test.

The West Indies started the second day with the ball and bowled out Pakistan for 230 amid an impressive charge by the bowlers of the visiting team.

Subsequently, when the West Indies began batting, Pakistan's Sajid Khan decimated their top order, claiming the first four wickets within the first five overs.

Meanwhile, it was Noman Ali who chipped away five wickets.

A brief respite came for the West Indies as Gudakesh Motie and Jomel Warrican forged a 25-run partnership, followed by a 46-run stand between Warrican and Jayden Seales.

However, this resistance was short-lived. Mohammad Rizwan held on to a catch off Abrar Ahmed's bowling, dismissing Jayden Seales.

Another session of the second day would begin after a shorter tea break. Pakistan would resume their innings with a 93-run first-innings lead.

However, despite resuming with a strong position, Pakistan lost four wickets for 143 runs. Saud Shakil scored 84 runs, and Mohammad Rizwan contributed 71 runs, setting Pakistan a target of 230 runs.

Salman Ali Agha and Khurram Shehzad each added 7 runs, while Nouman Ali returned to the pavilion for  a duck.

Additionally, skipper Shan Masood scored 11 runs, Babar Azam 8, Mohammad Hurairah 7 and Kamran Ghulam could post only 5 runs.
