“Pakistan has never produced a bigger star than Imran Khan,” says Iffat Omar

Model and host Iffat Omar showered praise on Imran Khan while reminiscing about his charisma during his cricketing days, calling him the biggest star in Pakistan's history.

Omar invited actor Emmad Irfani to her YouTube show, where they discussed his passion for cricket. 

Irfani revealed that he has been an avid cricket enthusiast since childhood and was deeply influenced by legendary players, particularly Imran Khan.

He added that cricket played a bonding role in his family, as both his father and brother were equally fond of the sport.

Despite being a vocal critic of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s politics, Iffat Omar fondly recalled the immense fanfare surrounding him during his cricket career.

"Politics aside, the aura Imran Khan had, the way he used to run onto the field. It gave us goosebumps and had us cheering," she said.

She continued, "It must be admitted that Pakistan has never produced a bigger star than Imran Khan."

Omar went on to highlight her own admiration for Imran, sharing that she used to repeatedly watch advertisements in which he appeared.

Emmad Irfani echoed her sentiments and compared Imran Khan’s stardom in the 1980s and 1990s to that of former English footballer David Beckham.
