PM Shehbaz performs Umrah during official visit to Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by a high-level delegation, performed Umrah in Makkah during his four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia. During the pilgrimage, he offered prayers for Pakistan’s progress, national prosperity, and the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
The premier was joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik, and National Coordinator of SIFC Lt Gen Sarfaraz Ahmed.
After concluding his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed from Jeddah for Islamabad. Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, bid him farewell at the airport.
The official visit, which took place from March 19 to 22, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, boosting economic collaboration, and attracting investment between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During his stay, the prime minister met Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. Both leaders discussed the increasing economic cooperation between the two nations and reiterated their commitment to fostering regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
