According to the PMD, the system may bring rain accompanied by thunder to parts of Jamshoro, Dadu, Thatta, Sujawal and Hyderabad on Thursday.

Light rain is also expected in Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Naushahro Feroze.

The department further stated that Shaheed Benazirabad, Khairpur, Sukkur, Ghotki, Jacobabad and Larkana could also receive light rainfall on January 22.

For Karachi, the PMD has forecast light to moderate rain as the weather system moves through the region.
