Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly condemned Israel's aggression against Palestine and Lebanon and announced his party's participation in a protest demonstration organized by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on October 7.
After meeting with JI Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Bilawal emphasized the need for national unity, stating that despite political differences, the entire nation should stand together against Israel’s atrocities.
He called on the government to step up and provide aid to the people of Gaza, urging stronger support for the Palestinian cause.
Bilawal also warned that if international powers believed they could achieve the so-called "Greater Israel" objective by creating instability similar to the situation in Iraq, then Pakistan would take a leading role in opposing such ambitions.
JI Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman echoed Bilawal’s sentiments, condemning Israel’s "reign of terror" against innocent Palestinians.
He lamented the global community's inability to hold Israel accountable for its actions and urged the people of Pakistan to join the October 7 demonstration to show solidarity with the victims of Israel’s aggression.
Naeemur Rehman also encouraged the government to take immediate steps to assist Gaza’s beleaguered population.
The JI leader expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, appreciating Bilawal's support for the cause.
