Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday termed the newly cemented Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) alliance as PDM 2.0, urging "state institutions to announce election results as per form-45".
“PTI completely rejects the attempts to create a spectacle of PDM 2 in the country by granting the people's rejected mandate to thieves,” the official statement by the party read on ‘X’.
In a strongly worded statement, Imran Khan's party warned that undermining the public's electoral choice could lead to "worse political unrest".
Asserting its majority in center, Punjab and KPK, PTI claimed, “Despite the unjust imprisonment of Imran Khan, the forfeiture of election symbol and being denied the right to campaign, the people have clearly given PTI a majority of 180 seats.”

Drawing parallels with past political turmoil that left the country on the verge of collapse, the former ruling party warned, “Pakistan had to go through a tragedy like the fall of Dhaka due to open fraud on public mandate. The heirs of those who divided Pakistan are again facilitating the state's effort to trample on the public mandate."
Taking aim at its archrival PML-N, PTI claimed that it has won only 17 seats and is a “big beneficiary of the campaign to loot the public mandate.
"The heinous characters of the regime change conspiracy have the support of the most dishonest Chief Election Commissioner in history. The people will not ignore the blatant manipulation of the constitution and democracy, as well as the open fraud on their votes,” it added.
Vowing to fully resist the theft of the public mandate “at all levels,” PTI urged, "the state decision-makers should be aware that instead of bulldozing the people's mandate in the centre and Punjab, they should declare the results as per Form 45 and give the right to form the government to the people's elected majority party."
