Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched a scheme to provide free three-marla plots to deserving and underprivileged individuals.

She inaugurated the Maskan-e-Ravi 'Zahra Homes' in Kala Shah Kaku, where she also conducted a detailed inspection of the project.

During the event, the Chief Minister distributed allotment letters and keys to 100 families and expressed satisfaction with the quality and amenities of the homes.

The Zahra Homes project features 100 houses built in Mohalla Nehra Pur on Kala Khatta Road in Lahore. Each 400-square-foot house includes two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a courtyard.

The homes have been constructed using TREND EPS Smart Panel Technology, ensuring they are earthquake-resistant, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable.

Each house will be powered by a 5 kW solar system, and the community will have access to an RO water plant, a school, playground, mosque, and dispensary.

The Maskan Ravi Housing Scheme is a collaborative initiative by RUDA and EPS Solutions Pakistan. A documentary on the services and projects of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif was also presented during the event.

Additionally, the Chief Minister approved Rs62 billion for the 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar' program, aiming to provide loans to 40,000 individuals by May.

CM Maryam directed officials to expedite the loan disbursement process and reviewed the proposal to increase the loan amount from Rs1.5 million to Rs2 million. So far, 5,000 residents have benefited from the program, with over 4,200 houses nearing completion.
