Racing cars run over, kill one motorcyclist, injure another in Islamabad

A car race in Islamabad turned fatal after speeding vehicles ran over two motorcyclists, killing one on the spot and leaving the other critically injured.

According to media reports, the incident occurred on a highway near Naval Anchorage when two cars, reportedly being driven recklessly during a race, struck the motorcycles.

One of the victims died at the scene, while the other was shifted to hospital in critical condition.

The reports said that both victims worked as electricians and were returning home when they were hit.

Police have taken both vehicles involved in the incident into custody and have launched raids to arrest the suspects responsible for the crash.
