Ramazan gas timings announced for Karachi

The Sui Southern Gas Company has released its gas supply schedule for Karachi and adjoining areas for Ramazan.

According to SSGC, gas will be available from 3:00am to 9:00am for Sehri and again from 3:30pm to 10:00pm for Iftar and dinner. Supply will remain suspended between 9:00am and 3:30pm and from 10:00pm to 3:00am as part of load-management in Ramazan. 

SSGC said the timings are carefully scheduled to facilitate meal preparation during fasting hours. Moreover, they highlighted that Pakistan’s natural gas reserves are declining by roughly 10% annually, necessitating controlled distribution of gas. 

Furthermore, officials warned consumers about using gas compressors, calling them illegal and hazardous, urging them to prepare meals within the provided gas schedule to avoid inconvenience.
