Turkiye's President Erdogan to reach Pakistan tomorrow

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Pakistan for two days, beginning tomorrow, at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The visit is expected to enhance diplomatic, economic, and strategic ties between the two nations.

Erdogan will co-chair the 7th session of the Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) alongside PM Shehbaz.

The session will include discussions on trade, defense, investment, energy, and education, culminating in a Joint Declaration and the signing of multiple agreements and MoUs.

During his stay, Erdogan will meet President Asif Ali Zardari and participate in a joint press conference with PM Shehbaz.

He will also address the Pakistan-Turkey Business and Investment Forum, engaging with business leaders to explore avenues for economic cooperation.

The HLSCC, which last convened in 2020, serves as a platform for high-level policy decisions between the two countries.

Erdogan’s visit is expected to further strengthen Pakistan-Turkey relations, fostering collaboration across key sectors.
