WATCH: Murree, Malam Jabba, Swat and other areas receive snowfall

Following a prolonged dry winter, Muree, Malam Jabba, Swat, Kalam and other parts of Pakistan received snowfall, transforming the region into a picturesque wonderland, gripping foreign and local tourists.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasted further rain and snowfall in the province. The advisory indicates that KP’s Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Abbottabad, Balakot, Mansehra, Peshwar, Bajor, Karam and surrounding areas will brace more rain and snowfall.

During this period, the weather will remain cold and cloudy in the upper districts of the province.

The forecast further indicated a round of downpours and snowfall in Kashmir, particularly focusing on Athmuqam and surrounding areas.

Simultaneously, popular tourist areas like Lawat Bala, Arangkel, Taobat, and Jagran are immersed in a sequence of snowfall episodes.
