Facebook, Instagram down for users across the globe

Facebook and Instagram's services are reportedly down for many users across the globe as they are unable to access the popular social media platforms on Tuesday.

According to the outage-tracking website, Downdetector.com, users are unable to log in to their accounts on Facebook and Instagram, meaning they couldn't post or view anything.

Users trying to access Facebook and Instagram in affected areas were greeted with the message: “Something went wrong. There's an issue and the page could not be loaded."

"We're aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now," Meta spokesman Andy Stone said in a post on X.
