What’s different in Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra?

 Samsung has officially launched its flagship device, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, marking the next step in the evolution of its premium smartphone lineup.

Building on the success of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the S25 Ultra introduces several key upgrades in both hardware and software, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) advancements.

The new device features a slightly larger 6.9-inch display, up from the 6.8 inches of its predecessor, though the overall design has been streamlined, making the phone smaller and approximately 15 grams lighter.

Samsung has also upgraded the camera system, replacing the previous 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a more powerful 50-megapixel sensor capable of capturing better macro shots.

As AI continues to play a larger role in smartphone development, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra is one of the first devices to integrate advanced AI capabilities, setting it apart from competitors.

Many of the new AI-driven features, such as enhanced photography and performance optimization, are ahead of Apple’s current offerings, which are still in development for iPhone users.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at $1,300, matching the price of the previous model. It remains the largest and most expensive phone in Samsung's Galaxy S lineup.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and offers configurations with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM.

In terms of heat dissipation, the S25 Ultra features a 40% larger vapor chamber compared to the S24 Ultra, which helps maintain optimal performance.

The phone retains the same 5000 mAh battery as its predecessor, but with improvements to power efficiency and battery life.

The camera system is another major focus of the S25 Ultra, with the 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor representing the most significant upgrade. The phone also features a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel 5X telephoto lens, and a 10-megapixel 3X zoom camera, maintaining the setup from last year’s model.

While the Galaxy S25 Ultra doesn’t introduce radical changes, it positions itself as a refinement of the S24 Ultra, with AI playing a central role in its functionality and performance.
