A 7-year-old boy, identified as Sarim, has been missing for two days without any trace of his whereabouts. Sarim’s family resides in North Karachi, and his father, Mohsin Pervaiz, has filed a kidnapping complaint at the Bilal Colony police station.

According to reports, Sarim went missing on January 7 after leaving for his madrassah, but he never returned home.

The madrassah teacher confirmed that Sarim had left for home at around 3:40 pm However, when he did not return by 5 pm, his mother informed his father of his disappearance.

The police have registered the complaint and initiated a search operation for the missing child.

Authorities also searched the 214 flats in the area, but no trace of Sarim was found.

Sarim’s madrassah is located within the same building complex where his family resides. His father reported finding Sarim’s gloves on the stairs of a nearby mosque, leading him to believe that his son may have been kidnapped.

The police noted that the incident occurred during a power outage in the area and suggested that the crime could involve a close relative of Sarim, though investigations are ongoing.
