Anchorperson Ayesha Jahanzeb beaten up by her husband

Renowned anchorperson Ayesha Jahanzeb was allegedly beaten up by her husband outside her home in Lahore, she revealed on Wednesday.

According to Ayesha, she has been subjected to domestic violence for almost six months, despite her efforts to save their relationship.

"This happened outside my home by my husband Haris Ali and still I can't figure out why he had done this. I have been suffering at the hands of my husband, and I have serious injuries to prove it," the host said while talking to a private news channel outside a police station.

"I have tried my best to save this relationship," she added.

When asked about the reason behind her husband's inhumane behaviour, Ayesha shared that her husband had secretly married another woman.

In the video, torture marks were visible on Ayesha's face as she claimed that this was the fourth incident of domestic violence she had faced this year.

She also revealed that her husband has already given her one divorce.

"I am now scared of him. I am fighting a legal battle to protect myself and my children," Ayesha concluded.

However, the police have arrested Ayesha's husband after registering first information report (FIR) against him on the complaint of the anchorperson.

It's pertinent to mention here that she had lost her first husband, Jahanzeb, at a young age and had tied the knot with Haris Ali for the second time.
